Three Warriors Earn GSAC Player of the Week Honors

San Dimas, Calif. — Life Pacific University Athletics is proud to announce that three Warriors have been recognized as GSAC Players of the Week for their standout performances during their competitions last week. Volleyball's Jocelyn Hernandez (Attacker of the Week) and Jadyn Armstrong (Setter of the Week) each earned conference honors, while Women's Soccer's Brianna Figueroa was named the GSAC Offensive Player of the Week.

 

 


Jocelyn Hernandez – Volleyball Attacker of the Week

 

 

Hernandez made her presence felt on the attack, finishing the weekend with 17 kills across 6 sets while hitting an efficient .400. She also contributed 3 blocks over the two-match stretch, helping power the Warriors to a strong showing. Her ability to finish at the net and maintain consistency on the offensive end proved pivotal for LPU.  Coach Liz Salas stated, "

 

 


Jadyn Armstrong – Volleyball Setter of the Week

 

 

Running the Warriors' offense with precision, Armstrong tallied 42 assists over 7 sets, averaging 6.0 assists per set. She also showcased her defensive skills with 21 digs (3.0 digs/set), while adding 2 service aces. Armstrong's balanced play was instrumental as LPU went 2–0 on the weekend.

 

 


Brianna Figueroa – Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

 

 

On the pitch, Figueroa delivered an offensive showcase in the Warriors' 11–0 win over Justice University, recording 10 total points with a hat trick (3 goals) and 4 assists. Through just four matches this season, she leads the GSAC in total points (18), with 5 goals and 8 assists. Figueroa's performance highlights her role as one of the conference's most dynamic attacking players.
