Warriors Kick-Off Beach Volleyball Season in AZ

Glendale, AZ - After a challenging inaugral season for LPU's Beach Volleyball program, the Warriors will look to expand on their win total from last season, with hopes of making some noise in the GSAC tournament later this season.  The Warriors traveled to Arizona this weekend to kick-off their Beach Volleyball season with three GSAC matchups.

 

In their first matchup, the Warriors faced off against the #6 OUAZ Spirit.  Although the Warriors dropped the match 4-1 to the Spirit, Hannah Caddow and Mackenzie Stewart, picked up the first individual win of the season in their win (21-18, 21-19).

 

The Warriors took on the #10 Master's University in the second match of the weekend.  Although multiple of the LPU duos battled extremely well, they were not able to take home the win, and ultimately dropped the match 5-0 to the Mustangs.

 

To close out the weekend, the Warriors faced off against the Firestorm of ACU on Saturday afternoon.  LPU fell by a final score of 5-0.
