Surprise, AZ - The Warriors continued their steady GSAC play on Thursday evening, as they were able to come out victorious on the road against OUAZ, 85-69. With the win, the Warriors improved to 9-3 on the season and 3-1 in GSAC play. The Warriors were led by a balanced scoring effort, as 5 different Warriors scored in double-figures. Rico Hopping continued his hot shooting, scoring 23 points on 9-11 shooting and 4-5 from the perimeter. Albert Matute also contributed 20 points on an efficient 6-8 shooting from the field. Dylan Cabs finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Off of the bench, Zach Murphy finished with 11 points and 3 rebounds. Reigning GSAC Offensive Player of the Week, Vince Fier, finished with another double-double, totaling 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Warriors will be on the court again on Saturday afternoon, as they take on #6 ranked, Arizona Christian at 11am PST.
