Fier and Hopping Named to GSAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Team

San Dimas, CA – Two Warriors, Vince Fier and Rico Hopping, received honors from the GSAC Conference this afternoon.  Graduate student-athletes, Vince Fier and Rico Hopping, were named to the GSAC All-Conference team, marking this as the first time in program history that a Men's Basketball player has received All-Conference honors.   The Warriors finished their season this past weekend, finishing with an overall record of 12-10 and 6-8 in the GSAC, resulting in them narrowly missing the GSAC Tournament.

When asked to reflect on the honors that Fier and Hopping received, Coach Tim Cook stated, "I couldn't be prouder of Vince Fier and Rico Hopping as our first recipients of GSAC All-Conference in Men's Basketball. This is such an outstanding honor . They both had such exceptional years and helped us create our culture and first winning season at 12-10 since 2018. They bring incredible attitudes, a maturity and experience to our LPU program, and it showed daily with their leadership on and off the court. They both exuded great work ethics and were exemplary role models to our young players. It was an honor to coach these two and I cant wait to see what the future holds for them after they graduate with their MBA's."
