Warrior Feature: Antonio DaCosta
SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Antonio (Tony) DaCosta comes into the 2020-21 Wrestling season with the determination to grow as a wrestler and as a leader. "As one of the older guys on the team, I want to try and lead by example. Doing things to the best of my ability on and off the mat," said DaCosta. After ending last season with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament, Tony will be in a position to show the younger Warriors what it takes to be successful at the highest level of NAIA Wrestling.
DaCosta had the privilege of competing against a premier program last season when Stanford University traveled down to San Dimas to face the Warriors on Mehl Court. Speaking on that experience, Tony expressed, "It was a great experience. Going up against a school that is NCAA Division one and known for having some great wrestlers was definitely exciting and having it here on campus for our home crowd to watch was a plus." Building off of last year's success and valuable experience, Tony will do his best to lead his team to even higher heights this year as they chase an NAIA championship.
