San Dimas, CA - On Thursday evening, the Warriors faced off against the 17th team in the nation, The Master's University Mustangs, who entered the contest with a 7-1 record. This contest would prove to be the best game of the season so far for the Women's Basketball program as they took the nationally ranked opponent to the wire. Unfortunately, the late 3-pointer at the buzzer by Rachel Spinosa rimmed out, resulting in the Warrior's narrow loss, 66-65. Despite the loss, the Warriors nearly pulled off the greatest victory in school history. They'll look to build off of this game as they enter their next GSAC matchup on Saturday afternoon against SDCC.
In Thursday's matchup, Bryanna Felix was unstoppable on the offensive end. She finished the game with a career-high 31 points, while shooting 6-11 from the perimeter.
