San Dimas, Calif. — Life Pacific Women's Basketball delivered one of its most complete performances of the young season Wednesday night, downing Caltech 78–58 at Mehl Court behind efficient offense, stout rebounding and steady play from the bench.
The Warriors shot a strong 44.1% from the field and drilled 11-of-24 from three (45.8%), finishing with 78 points while holding Caltech to 58. Life Pacific also controlled the glass, finishing with 45 rebounds (16 offensive) and converting extra possessions into points throughout the night.
Standouts

Ysabel Puente led LPU with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting and added 4 rebounds and a handful of assists, providing the go-to scoring punch the Warriors needed.

Sophia Abella poured in 16 points (6-of-10) and played a key role in the effort from the second unit.

Ebony Cooper chipped in 12 points while battling on the boards, and Kailey New added 11 points and five rebounds in a tough inside performance.
Life Pacific also shared the ball well (15 assists) and limited mistakes, committing just 11 turnovers while forcing extra chances with 5 steals. The Warriors' bench was active all evening, helping LPU build and maintain leads through each quarter.
