Ayala and Caddow Named Players of the Week

San Dimas, CA - Another week, another set of honors for the Life Pacific Volleyball program.  Allison Ayala was named the GSAC Defender of the Week, following the weekend sweep of Jessup University and Menlo College.  For the third time this season, Hannah Caddow was named the GSAC Attacker of the Week.

The recognition of these honors followed the weekend performance of LPU as the Warriors swept their road trip in NorCal, and improve to a program best, 15-3 record and 6-1 record in the GSAC.

DEFENDER OF THE WEEK - ALLISON AYALA

Ayala led the way defensively for the Warriors this weekend, as she totaled a combined 59 digs in the 2 matches on the weekend. In Friday's match, Ayala finished with 23 digs and 3 service aces. On Saturday, she followed the performance up with 36 digs, 6 assists, and another service ace. For the weekend, she averaged 5.90 digs/set.

ATTACKER OF THE WEEK - HANNAH CADDOW

Caddow led the Warriors offensively in their sweep of the NorCal GSAC trip. In Friday's victory over Jessup, she finished with 20 kills, 11 digs, and 3 blocks. On Saturday, she finished with 14 kills, 12 digs, and 4 service aces. Caddow currently leads the GSAC in kills/set with 3.83.
