Warriors Keep Postseason Hopes Alive with Sweep of OUAZ

San Dimas, CA – On Saturday afternoon, the Warriors faced off against the OUAZ Spirit for the second time this season.  In the first matchup between the two teams, the Warriors lost a tough match, dropping it in 4 sets. The Warriors came out with fire today and were able to finish off the Spirit in 3 sets, thanks to their stellar play on defense. The Warriors held the Spirit to a .113 hitting percentage and had a total of 61 digs and 14 blocks. 

 

The Warriors defense was led by Kei'ana Pascua, who finished with 16 digs in the sweep.  Kylie Proctor finished with 6 blocks in the middle along with Diana Castro and Jocelyn Hernandez totaling 4 blocks on the match. On the attack, Bailey Collette led the way with 12 kills and and Lilly knight with 8 kills and a hitting percentage of .353. Maddie Robertson led the offense, finishing with 20 assists, while Jadyn Armstrong also finished with 12 assists.
