Warriors Power Past Embry-Riddle in Four Sets
San Dimas, Calif. — The Life Pacific University women's volleyball team continued its impressive GSAC campaign with a 3–1 victory (25-18, 14-25, 25-17, 25-23) over Embry-Riddle (AZ) on Friday night inside Mehl Court. The win pushed the Warriors to 13-7 overall and 8-4 in GSAC play, fueled by a balanced offensive effort and clutch defense in key moments.
Leading the way for Life Pacific was Kendal Collins, who delivered one of her most complete performances of the season. The junior outside hitter posted 13 kills, hit .303, added 13 digs, and contributed a service ace and a block assist to finish with a match-high 14.5 points. Collins' steady two-way play anchored the Warriors on both sides of the net, especially in the first and fourth sets, where she recorded several crucial kills to halt Embry-Riddle rallies.

Makala Detrick added 4 block assists, helping Life Pacific out-block the Eagles 15-10 in total.
The Warriors came out strong with a convincing 25-18 opening-set win, but after dropping the second, they regrouped and controlled the third 25-17. The decisive fourth set showcased LPU's grit — trading points late before service aces from Kelsey Gomarko and Collins sealed the 25-23 finish.
Defensively, Gomarko anchored the back row with 11 digs and a service ace, while Isabel Johnson added three block assists at the net. Life Pacific limited Embry-Riddle to a .130 hitting percentage, forcing 27 attack errors through disciplined positioning and pressure.
